Our aim is to empower people to create positive change in their lives, within the context of their own culture, values and aspirations.

Our services are delivered to nurture, encourage and challenge people towards personal growth, and family and community wellbeing.

Friendship House services and facilities include: Community Centre and information sharing, self awareness and development courses, family therapy and counselling (for individuals, small groups and families), men’s Living Without Violence programmes, budgeting services, Awhinatia support services, referrals, spaces for group meetings and hui, social work, community resource work, social justice work and spiritual resource work. Our Community Centre also functions as a community hub for information, particularly through the Counties Manukau area and in relation to social and community services.
